Jeffco Board Majority: Listen & Involve the Community

Thanks to the parents for organizing such an important petition. I have 2 young children and the oldest is starting Kindergarten in the Fall. Our children deserve better then our Board is providing to the community. I refuse for our voices to not be heard and appreciate all the effort the parents have put into this. Thank you!

This Board Majority is not adequately representing the community, nor the staff of Jeffco schools.

I attended Maple Grove and grew up in the area. It would be a disservice to increase the size of the school.

It is time for the majority board members to listen to the community and fellow board memeber.

We almost had this happen to our middle school a few years back!

While my 3 year old son will not attend Jeffco schools, I believe EVERYONE should have unfettered access to public schools and that charter schools are just a way for a fringe minority to have absolute control over schools.

School Boards are supposed to listen to the community they are representing. Period.

My youngest just graduated from Golden High School and I have never been happier to know my children are out of Jeffco. It makes me sad to say this as I am a product of Jeffco schools and I used to love this school district. The board majority are the reason I decided to retire early and return to the business world for work. I will miss the students greatly, but what the board is doing to our district and students was something I didn't want to be part of any longer. I was lucky because I had employment options, not all of our outstanding teachers have that opportunity and they are stuck trying to make a difference with a board who doesn't know anything about children and education. I have heard people refer to Ken Wit as a mini Hitler who doesn't care about anything or anyone. I couldn't agree more!

I was a Jeffco student (class of '81), a taxpayer, a parent, and I continue to live and work in this county. I want it to be the best education experience for all children for generations to come. The Board Majority must listen to the community and its voters. This is a disgrace.

vote these clowns out, they are an embarrassment!

Recall WNW for their numerous board violations regardless of the expense. We can't afford not to.

Please describe the process of how to impeach the majority board or get rid of them ASAP. Is anyone taking this initiative?

We need to take our schools back. This Nov. it is sooo important to vote for the 2 spots that are up for a vote on the board. Support Amanda Stevens and Jill Fellman (if she chooses to run again). We can't have more people on the board like WNW who will continue to damage our schools.

Witt, Williams and Newark need to go. These people have made Jeffco worst then then now sister district of Dougco. What a total shame this was once the flagship education district and now just a joke!
