School needs to be out for a couple of months so the kids have a break n not have to worry about studying testing etc. Keeping them in school will burn them out n most high schoolers will drop out. Think about what ur doing

Jcps starts school too early kids get board being in so long they barley even have a summer break when I went to school we started in sep

If this keeps up there will be yr round school whether anyone likes it or not. I also think spring break should be derby week. There to much good stuff going on that kids could be a part of

I really don't think you should start school so soon kids really don't get a long enough break, it may help with the drop out rate kids are missing out on vacation time.

We need to put our children first and stop using their education as an excuse to get money. School used to not start until after Labor Day and we all got a good education! !

The kids don't have much of a summer break. The schools don't want to the kids to miss school for the things they can control so don't make the children pay for the things they can't help like the weather
