I agree that parking should be charged from 8 am onwards In the Davies Park precinct and surrounding streets

It is just common sense to change it to 8am as the parking is used mainly by rowers, to exercise before work.

As a rowing coach for school-aged children at West End, I find it unfair and stressful for the meter parking start to be at 7am. Please have this changed.

Please see common sense in changing the metered time to 8am as many of us who use the car parking prior to this time are just trying to stay healthy

PLEASE help me continue a healthy life style by assisting with the parking meter issue. I use the park and rowing shed area early morning during the week.

People who engage in lawful activities for their health and wellbeing should not be financially penalised. The introduction of this cost constitutes false economy as these locations would likely have reduced patronage and as a result increased burdens on health care systems through lifestyle diseases resultant from lack of regular physical activity. Could Council please act in the welfare of its constituents on this matter please?

I support this petition,especially to support the safety of families who use this park inthe early hours.

A change from 7am to 8am is sensible and better aligned with the recreation usage of the precinct. It will also benefit the local café businesses.

A small concession by council that would encourage a healthy lifestyle and benefit the community

This is an exercise and health activity precinct pre business hours so Council should recognise and align.

It is doubly unfair when coaches, who are usually donating their time and effort, are fined for being late back to their cars, because they are making sure everything is put away safely and students or athletes are safe on their way. It is surprising that council hasn't been asked to adjust this before now.

Please change metered parking from 7 am to 8 am as we go rowing and by the time we comeback it is after 7

Can we also ask west end market vendors, particularly those who drive large trucks, to park in the grounds instead of taking up multiple parks allocated for cars to park on Jane street on Saturday mornings.

As there are few options to park when using facilities leased to the rowers by the BBC it doesn't seem like much of an ask. Rowers are generally finished by 7.30
