Hi, everyone! My name is Janani Dharmarajan and I’m a sophomore majoring in Biology and minoring in Business at Illinois Wesleyan. As an involved student on campus, through my participation in many clubs and organizations, I feel that I would be a great senator and a great advocate for the student body.
Due to my variety of classes in different departments in addition to my involvement in RSO’s such as volunteer clubs, Intramural, and more, I can be a voice for the many students I come into contact with and address any issues or concerns anyone might have.
I hope to connect with more students this year and make a positive impact on our campus through Student Senate and more opportunities for engagement at our school.

I have been walking around campus all morning and honestly just talking to so many of you about what you actually want to see from the senate which is way more interesting than just reading emails. It is wild how many of the same issues keep coming up when I talk to people in the library or the commons so keep telling me what is on your mind because I am taking notes on everything.
