Do you live in Woodstock? Does it take you either time or cost you money to get to Upper Campus? Would you like to step onto a Jammie on Roodebloem Road and be taken to Campus without having to drive yourself or needing to catch public transport to get to the closest Jammie Stop?
Then sign this petition!
In an interview with Mr Geoff De Wet, head of the physical planning unit in the Department of Properties and Services at the University of Cape Town, it was brought across that there is a chance that UCT might implement a Jammie stop in Woodstock if enough students stand up for it.
So this is the time.
Sign the petition and help us get to campus!
PLEASE PUT YOUR YEAR OF STUDY INTO THE 'COMMENTS' FIELD! thank you.
I actually moved into a new place in Woodstock, after struggling to get a near to jammie stop accomodation. I have already spent so much on public transport, hence I don't have transport of my own. Not only money wastage is my concern, but the fear of possible smuggling during my late movement after late studying is the worst feeling. I urge the all uct students, both affected and non affected, to adhere into this initiative.
