SAVE OUR ISLAND! I have lived here all my life. The line has been crossed. It has become too crowded and expensive. Traffic is horrendous. In the long run, many people will leave as a result. Economy will suffer. Businesses will close. Too much is too much. Save our island. Hopefully, it's not too late.

I have lived on James Island all my life and the changes the past two years have disheartened me. We are losing so much green land to the building of houses, apartments and condos. Our little island is quickly becoming overcrowded and we are lacking the infrastructure to support it all. I literally live one mile from my job off Folly Road and it takes me at least 40 minutes just to get to work everyday now where before it was fifteen minutes. Traffic is ridiculous now and construction is happening anywhere there is a little wooded area. It is so upsetting! What I loved so about living here is quickly changing over the greed of money.

Enough is enough. Traffic is bad enough as it is now. More apartments means more cars. We want to keep some green spaces on this island as well.

Please stop the over building of apartments unless there are additional roads built to accommodate all the new traffic.

PLEASE STOP building! We are going to sink in more ways than 1! Our infrastructure can not support the residential and tourist traffic now! Please do not take "our quality of life and safety". There is no price for our island; our familys have invested here first and have been paying our share for decades! Do not give in to the devil in disguise as dollars! There are plenty of structure and homes that can be bought and spruced up; perhaps we should use what we have and clean our selves up, complete the current projects underway and get started on the rest of the list before approving "any new construction"!

The beauty and uniqueness of this island is being chipped away acre by acre... Please conserve and take pride in what is left.

Please stop the growth on James island

The area does not have the infrastructure to support this explosive growth. Look at what happened during Folly Gras. And that was an optional fun event. What will happen in the next hurricane?

As a James Island resident, I can attest to the current traffic and infrastructure issues. We experience problems on a daily basis. Adding a high volume of new residents, in the form of apartment buildings will only serve to make things worse. Please allow for a moratorium to work towards ameliorating some of the current issues.

The new growth has gotten WAY out of hand. You can't get anywhere on Folly or Maybank or Camp between the hours of 7am and 7pm right now.

We need to put a stop to high density construction on James Island. The infrastructure of the island cannot support the population.

I have been watching the desecration of the wooded area on Harbor View Rd to make way for the Mungo tract. Very, very sad and totally unnecessary. Please stop giving the go ahead to ruin what is left of our green spaces.

There are another 1,000 units approved and coming soon. Enough is enough. Our quality of life is quickly deteriorating.

Our infrastructure MUST catch up with the current population of James Island before more apartment housing is approved!
