I am aware that my daughter will be missing school for the national dance competition. She is a good and responsible student and this competition is important to her - she will make sure that she doesn't get behind in her classes. We feel as a family that this is a unique opportunity to experience Disney both together as a family and with her team.

My daughter went to Nationals in Florida three years ago. Extremely worthwhile, without a doubt, worth missing school for. I'm support adding the extra days as the girls had no down time and came back exhausted. The extra days will enhance the whole experience.

This is a great opportunity for these girls to experience something like this they may otherwise never get to. Kaitlyn has our permission to attend and is also the understanding that her school work will be completed.

I feel it is a great opportunity for a awesome team building exercise. It also is a great way to represent the school.

I have never had the opportunity or been able to afford to take my kids on memorable vacation like this. Even though this is school sanctioned and they have work to do when they get there, it is also an experience that my daughter may never get the chance to have again and it is with a team she is very proud to be a part of. The only thing I feel bad about is that I won't be able to go down there with her.
