The library administration has confirmed that Jafet will remain open around the clock throughout the term. I am deeply appreciative of the collective effort that made the necessity of this space clear to the university. We will keep observing how these hours serve the student body in the months ahead.

This is necessary. We are often forced to scamper to find other places that do open 24/7 in order to study.
Not only that! Let's say that jaffet closes at 12. Thats not true. They usually kick me out at 11. Not fair.
All libraries should be open 24/7, specially the books in Jafet and RGB sections for late night reading and research.
We definitely need the library to be open 24 hours, although a weekend day like Saturday might be an exception. The library must expand too.
Its is feasible and doable, aside to the fact that we as students want this. So why not implement?

11pm is way too early to close. Most of my major work starts after midnight and I hate having to pack up just as I get focused.
