God is the one and only who can truly judge us for our sins. If she spent 20 years in jail I believe she paid her dues to society, allow her to return to get family who loves and misses her very much. Give this young woman a chance to show the world she's a changed person. May GOD pour favor over this signed petition and may and may she be released soon. I believe GOD have the last word. Protect her Father and keep her from harm's way in Jesus Name, Amen...

Jacqueline Montanez I went to school with her , we were friends, I've been in her home .She wasn't bad then at least I didn't see her that way, she just got herself in a situation is all yeah she hurt people but she also has been in jail 20 yrs, 20yrs too long .at the time she was a child who was confused and a lot going on in her life. I feel bad for how her life was. Jacqueline Montanez I still care for u as I did when we was in school.stay strong mica and things will work out.

Give jacqueline a second chance at life 20 years has change her dramatically and she has accepted responsiblity for her crimes. I been reading alot on jacqueline and have learned about how much she's change.. clemency for jacqueline and for all the juveniles facing life and are doing life... Let's give them a second chance.

I belive she deserves a second chance at fifteen we are all liable to make a mistake. Even a mistake with high volume such as this. She is allready in her thirties give her another chance. Its another thing committing a crime at 32 than 15. She was raped and traumatized and as young girl on top of That.

I am proud of the beautiful woman you have become today. Please keep up the good work. God had blessed you with a different life today. Use your knowledge of wisdom to pass on to those in desperate need of a friend, someone who's been through what we've been through. Sincerely yours, Adina Ibarrondo

She was raped; her mind was clouded by her pain. She was young and was a child. Sure she knew right from wrong; but did she know at the time when committing the crime? She could have well been mentally unstable during this period of her life.

IT IS SO SAD HOW THE LAW ENFORCEMENT WORKS AND FORCES PEOPLE INTO STATEMENTS AND CONFESSIONS A LONG WITH THREATS I AM A LIVING WITNESS AND HAVE BEEN WHERE JAQULINE IS AND WITH HER SHE IS A VERY NICE PERSON WHO HELPS WHO EVER SHE CAN NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR WHAT WE BEEN THROUGH AS CHILDREN AND WHY WE END UP IN THESE PLACES I BELIEVE SHE DESERVES HER FREDOM JUST LIKE ANY ONE ELSE SHE WAS A CHILD A BABY WHO DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT WAS GOING ON SHE WAS TORTURED BY HER STEP FATHER ETC THESE ARE THINGS COURTS DON'T LOOK AT I HAVE BEEN PUT AWAY SEVERAL TIMES MYSELF FOR HANGING WITH WRONG PEOPLE AND GOING DOWN WITH THEM AND I WAS INNOCENT AND HAVE A X ON MY BACK BY THE GRACE OF GOD I CAME HOME IN 2007 APRIL AND CLOSED THAT CHAPTER OG MY LIFE OFF. IN 2009 I HAD MY BABY GIRL WHO HAS ALSO CHANGED ALOT IN MY LIFE I KNOW NOW WHAT I DID NOT KNOW BEFORE TO REMOVE MYSELF FROM NEGATIVE SITUATION IF THEY COME ABOUT I CAN NOT SEE MYSELF BACK BEHIND THOSE WALLS FROM 1999 TIL 2007 IT WAS A REVOLVING DOOR FOR ME UNTIL I STUCK WITH WHAT WAS TOLD TO ME CHANGE YOUR LIFE BEFORE YOUR LIFE CHANGES YOU AND I HAVE DONE JUST THAT I AM TRULY BLESSED TO SAY THAT CHAPTER OFF MY LIFE IS CLOSED OFF BUT WISH AT THE SAME TIME THE X ON MY BACK CAN BE REMOVED IT IS AFFECTING ME IN SO MANY WAYS I CAN'T GET LOW INCOME HOUSING FOR ME AND MY CHILD AS NOW A DISABLED MOTHER THE SYSTEM NEEDS TO DO ALOT OF CORRECTIONS AND ALSO HELP US WITH WHAT WE NEED TO SUCCEED IN LIFE. I PRAY FOR JACKIE AND I PRAY SHE HAS A CHANCE TO BE REUNITED WITH HER LOVED ONES SOON.AMEN.

I grew up in the neighborhood and it was nothing nice this poor girl was a victim of her reality although she deserved to be punished spending her whole life in prison for something she did with a child's mind is unjust we all think we are grown at 15 let that poor girl free so she can experience love instead of hate so she can experience family instead or gang life let this women be free either way it goes this situation is a drag to the community because if she didn't kill them they probably would've still been tormenting the community

I appreciate everyone who has already signed the petition and who are spreading awareness. Jackie is my cousin, I have never had the chance to meet her but I wish nothing but the best for her. I understand the pain the victims family is going through because we all shared that pain once in our lives before. Jackie has been in there her whole entire life she is missing out on life itself. She is sorry, nothing about her story is fake. We all know for a fact that she is sincere about her words. Just like the victims family, we are always going to be behind her because she is OUR family. I am currently a student majoring in Criminal Justice, and her case is something I do not understand. I studied the case from an outsider looking in, and now I study it knowing the laws and procedures. Jackie was a minor when a statement was taken, no attorney and no legal guardian. That is a red flag. May I add the detective is also not a reliable nor credible source due to his racial opinions against hispanics. I just wish others would put their feet in her shoes, how would you feel? If the roles were flipped wouldnt you want your family member to receive a second chance at life? Jackie was 15 when the event occured, a minor, she is now 38 an adult. How can we give a child a death penalty. Regardless of her being my family, I would not want to wish this upon any child. Everyone takes abuse differently, studying psychology/sociology will inform you of how a person may react. Once again thank you all. And as for Jackie I can not wait to meet you we all love you and miss you dearly.
