Please stop dragging your feet on this matter... Pleoples lives are in danger... Experience the road yourself... do you want your family or friends on this road... Look at some of the videos people have posted it’s crazy..... Carlsbad is growing fast so help it grow safely...Please, stop the heartaches...

So sorry for everyone's loss I totally agree to 85 should be a four-lane highway from loving all the way to Pecos one of the dangerous roads out there..

I"ve lived in a lot of places, but this area is one of the worst for road conditions. I've complained to legislators about the condition of the roads but get little more back than a crooked smile. Makes me wonder why we pay taxes. Where is all this "oil money" going? Who's getting it? Don't the people who actually earn it matter? Makes me wonder...

For sure 285!! And Balmorhea hwy 17. Its gotten to be a horrible drive from here to Pecos.

U.S. 285 South of Loving and all the way to the Texas State line, needs to be a four lane highway. We're in desperate need for it! We can't keep losing lives on this highway! Our state needs the oilfield money that we keep flowing through New Mexico, and the least the state can do for us is help protect our loved ones that have no choice but to travel that road!
