please just stick with kim dokja. dokja kim has the impact of a wet marshmallow. if my korean parents ever tried to scold me using an english-conventional name order i would laugh in their faces

Most readers who craves for the official English translation has probably read the fanmade translation and are used to the terms such as [Kim Dokja] rather than [Dokja Kim]. These are even more evident on social platforms where english speaking members of the ORV fandom often use [Kim Dokja] [Yoo Joonghyuk] [Han Sooyoung] [Etc.] when addressing the ORV characters. Meanwhile proper romanization could be up to debate on whether it is [Yoo Joonghyuk] or [Yu Jung-hyeok].

Please consider changing the proper interpretation of surnames and suffixes.
