I just received word that the original names will be preserved in the print release. This outcome belongs entirely to the 970 of you who cared enough to speak up on this. I am still processing this result but I am deeply thankful for your persistence.
Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint is getting english translation print both manhwa and novel. Petition for IZEPRESS or YenPress keep the original names order for the characters and if they can please keep the honorifics as the original korean too. Do not localization the names!
I honestly never thought even one hundred people would care about this as much as I do. Seeing this number go up is entirely because of you and your love for these characters. Thank you for proving me wrong.

I have been reading through all the thoughtful comments you have left here and it is clear how much this story means to so many of us. I started this with very low expectations but your dedication to keeping these names authentic is honestly overwhelming. I am currently researching the best way to present these concerns to the publisher so please stay tuned for more information.

I really never imagined so many people would feel this strongly about the names in our favorite series. We are getting very near five hundred signatures and I truly believe if each person here gets one friend to sign we will hit that milestone today. This momentum is entirely because of your passion for the source material.

Characters like Anna Croft and Iris Valdimirovna Rebezova’s were kept just as it is in honor of their background so why can’t the main cast be the same? If not you might as well switch their names up [Croft Anna] because this all just seems unfair…

hoping that the names should not be changed from their literal translation e.g. Kim Dokja, Yoo Joonghyuk, Han Sooyoung, as opposed to: Dokja Kim, as it's custom and most preferred by the majority of fans, and getting them mixed up would be confusing.

Localization is all well and good for untranslatable turns of phrase or context, but there's millions of people in ORVs English -speaking audience that knows that family name-given name and honorifics are common conventions in Asian countries!

Honorifics are a very important part of their society. Removing them takes away from the beauty of the culture pictured in ORV. The same thing with the name order. Please do not ruin this great book! It, and Korean culture should be given the respect it deserves!

pls keep the korean honorifics for the orv english translation. removing them for the sake of catering to western audience takes away the emphasis on the character's dynamic towards each other and the nuances will be lost

absolutely rubbish decisions being made on the part of IzePress as ORV dives into the rich mythos and cultures of many countries and it just doesnt make sense to englishise the korean origins of the novel to the point the blurb reads like an American narrative set in Korea
