We support this petition wholeheartedly as Ivybridge is the ideal place to walk from whether on the moor or out into the South Hams. The town has a lot to offer for all visitors and should be given the accolade.

I support the application for Ivybridge to become part of the national network and for the town to be awarded the 'Walkers are Welcome' accolade.

Walking is such a good form of exercise for young and older people. So it should be encouraged.

Located at the southern edge of Dartmoor and the start of the 2 Moors Way; with trails to the coast and the South West coast path a short distance away; and being on the Devon coast to coast route, Ivybridge is perfect for walking.
Add to that the friendliness of the residents, established walking groups and a supportive town council, it needs no further recommendation.
