Quality performances by not only the actors, the script writers but all those in the community. Much better than the garbage that the mind bending dictators seem to want the great unwashed to watch on the idiot box these days.

As a matter of opinion, I suggest that Dr. Martin is the best tv filming production. At least it is all lectures with giving sense to people,not like others weak soaps and TV series showing violents rapes etc. ... I presume we fed up with the nuisance filming.

I've only just started tuning in (from September 2019). It took me a while for Doc Martin to grow on me but now I am hooked. Especially as I had connections with the creator of the show (Dominic Minghella) back in the day. Antony and Dominic Minghella are so talent writers. It would sad to not continue.

In a time where TV dramas are often grim, gritty & full of violence sexual content, Doc Martin is a breathe of fresh air. It is so easy to watch, funny and moving at the same time. Please don't leave us with a cliffhanger like that. If you wanted to finish the series, please do it with a proper conclusion so we can all get closure!
