This is a brilliant show, wonderful actors, reliving a very historically important period in our past in a wonderfully entertaining and engaging way. I can't actually believe ITV can seriously think of axing the show, it's wonderful.

I cannot understand why they are cancelling the show on acliffhanger the only reason it think it is to put on realalty programs

My husband and I love the series and will be very disappointed if there is not a third series. It seems such a shame not to shoot it if it's already been written.

I can only presume that removing well written and popular dramas is part of a plan to make us all pay to watch sub-standard rubbish. What muppets made this decision-obviously the ones who decided that we all love to be a fly on the wall watching paint dry.

I cannot imagine what they are thinking, but l do know for me it's the wrong decision. My husband has been watching the series with me so that's two more viewers disappointed. Please think again.

I've just invested a lot of time watching both series on catch-up only to find there won't be a third series. Can't understand why. It had good viewing figures.
