COVID-19 isn't our fault as students and we shouldn't get penalized by not being able to graduate on time.

The financial implications of a delayed graduation in incredibly anxiety-inducing. As a student with no financial support from family or friends, I personally do not know how I will pay for rent, bills, or groceries if this happens. Graduation postponed taking the PANCE which postponed state licensing which postpones when we can start working which ultimately postpones our first paycheck and income. This is having a financial and emotional toll on your students. Please consider adjusting your goals to support on-time graduation.

Please update your policies pertaining to PA students. They want to do what they signed up for. Allow them the opportunity. Thank you

My daughter is to graduate in May of 2020 and already has a job. This should be considered a priority. All of these students have worked hard and deserve to graduate on time.

We need ARC-PA to guide us and make changes now. I am a second year PA student who is supposed to be starting clinicals in May. This already seems futile, especially with the threat of lack of site availability due to the classmates above me being pulled from their rotations with only 1.5 months till graduation. We need answers.

My daughter only had her elective rotation left to do. Her graduation date is May 10th! She already accepted a position too!!!! Now what?!!!!

Jobs and income, after 2 years without a paycheck, are on the line.

I would appreciate some central guidance to help these programs prepare an adequate makeup schedule without increasing cost onto the students

Let’s adopt something similar to the AAMC and back your PA students. It’s a little unfair for us PA students who have put in so much time and effort into our education and to not get appropriate guidance from our governing body during a time like this

We just want an upper and more guidance. If we could we would be out there helping but unfortunately supplies are low and our safety is important. With current providers at the highest risk for infection new providers are going to be needed to start caring for patients as this pandemic evolves.

COVID-19 is going to have lasting effects if we cannot support students to graduate in time so future classes can also start on time. Let’s fix this so students don’t have to delay being able to become certified and start caring for patients!

Graduation was set for May 13. It is now postponed indefinitely. I had 4 week of ELECTIVE rotation left.
