I was burned 94% from a gasoline explosion from trying to burn brush and using gasoline as an accelerant. People need to know that it is NOT the liquid gasoline that is most dangerous, it is the fumes. In my case the fumes built up in a chiminea. Gasoline containers need to have A warning. DO NOT USE GASOLINE ON AN OPEN FLAME -- FUMES WILL EXPLODE. IF YOU INSIST ON BEING AN INSANE PERSON AND USE IT ANY WAY, PLACE CONTAINER AT LEAST 100 FEET AWAY FROM FIRE. I know many survivors who have had the container explode just by picking it up because the fumes are exposed to the heat.

This is extremely important! As a fellow Burn survivor, I know what it's like to have your life changed due to burns! Any protective measures are worth it!
