As the mother of a burn survivor I cannot explain just how important it is for me to do whatever I can to save another child, another family, the pain of healing from a burn injury. This is not an injury, where after you leave the hospital and life goes on. The pain is forever, both mentally and physically. There is no guarantee to any burn survivor whom has endured third degree burns that they will never have surgery again. It is a lifelong burden a burn FAMILY must carry, whether all are burned, one are burned or any, God Forbid do nut survive.

My burn experience was a little different, but if a flame arrester were on my jug of denatured alcohol, I would not have needed to remember the teeny tiny writing that I could hardly see on the jug, warning me of explosive hazards. I am a burn survivor.

Please prevent consumer burns with a simple cap --as is required in commercial kitchens.

This is so needed. I know to many fellow survivors burned because of this. When there are hundreds of accidents in one area, they add signs and different things to make it safer. So why don't we do that with this as well???

I'm a Burn Survivor and I know the pain and horror of burning and healing. A lot of burns could be prevented if this is passed and iimplemented.

Not another family. This is a great safety issue that needs to be addressed. I sign this petition as a burn mom 5 years out from my daughters burn and still going through the aftermath. This could have been prevented if a flame arrestor was present and now 5 years still going through it with countless hrs of surgeries, insurance claims, pain, tears, psychological issues. We shouldn't be dealing with the fire breathing dragon when all it takes is less then 5 cents for a lifetime of damage . No more!!! Please no more!!!
