The scale of this support has secured a meeting with the Chamber of Commerce board members. We are currently preparing our formal presentation to explain the historic value of the sign.

I grew up there and that sign was so funny when they first put it up. It should stay. So ironic!
Leave the sign it's part of Soledad. I grew up with this sign and so have my kids and I would like my granddaughter t o also enjoy seeing it knowing home is close by.
Soledad, this sign is your face to the millions of people who drive by every year. Don't let Soledad stop "happening"!
This sign has always been a part of Soledad. Removing it will tear a historical piece of this family oriented town. Heart breaking!
It would be great if it stays so much history behind that sign. Im not from soledad but i ve heard awesome comments about this place.

I have driven the 101 through Soledad since 1965, when my brother attended Berkeley. I vote to keep the sign. I will make it a point to stop in Soledad and find out what exactly is happening.
