Dear ITEC Department, please reconsider future offerings of this course.
Key notes:
- Students are pirating the MATLAB software. Other institutions (i.e Ryerson) provide the MATLAB for free.
- Students were not taught the required math knowledge. It was prevalent that students had no understanding of the math concepts.
- Excel would be a better substitute for MATLAB
- If the ITEC Dept. would like the students to learn scripting, why not teach relevant languages (i.e. Python w/ math libraries)
- Professor was unclear, just read slides, had a language barrier, and lacked direction.
- MATLAB is used by scientific/engineering professionals NOT by information technology professionals.
- MATH 2320 (Discrete MATH) is a far better substitute compared to this class.
The other students and I, feel as if this course just doesn't fit the needs of an Information Technology program. It lacks relevancy in the real world of IT. Please find a better course substitute!
We kindly ask for an internal audit of the course. Furthermore, we respectfully ask to have the final grades adjusted accordingly.

I litreally stopped going to her class after mid terms as i found it was waste of time . I couldnt understand a single word she said and she herself was confused most of the time. If she couldnt answer my question she just walks away , I mean seriously . On top of higher grades i want my parking money back.

I was supposed to be enrolled in this class last semester but it was full. Now I am enrolled in this class for the winter semester and prior to this I sat through the first 4 lectures in September and I am unable to understand what the prof is saying. I feel she believes she can speak english coherently yet this is not the case. I tried so hard to pay attention and listen in class yet the prof is reading from slides and completely incomprehensible. Certain words are literally mumbled over due to an inability to pronounce them. Students quite literally staring at each other in disbelief having no idea what they are about to experience. I feel having this prof will hinder my grades as well as delay my graduation further if I struggle to learn effectively in this course as a result of this professor.

I strongly disagreed to this teacher she is so rude .she did not teach good .she taugh different and gave exam different .i am international i also have degree from back home but this professor has no idea how to teach the course she only knows how to fail the students.THe day dirst when ahe started all students had problem with her because she was not teaching well please its humble request to take action and upgrade my grades thanks
