While PMD/PMB is great, this is at great danger/risk to the pedestrians. The speed, momentum, lack of proper braking mechanism, footpaths not optimised for moving wheels pose grave risk to the innocent kids and elderly. It can be fatal, and I myself saw a terrible accident where an elderly woman hit by PMB. It's high time, Gov stop them from occuping pedestrian spaces. If required, tax them heftily and build a separate track for them.

E-scooeters riders are rash, immature, do not follow any rules. I'm sick and tired of being scared of walking down a pavement, not sure when a side stop is going to cause me to hit. Ban these eScooters. Creating a separate pathway for them will not help!

I wouldn't be signing this if I thought that e-scooter riders would start being considerate to pedestrians. I'm sick and tired of being nearly run over and being glared at by e-scooter riders who think they own the pavement.

Ever since electric scooters, bike sharing services were introduced , there isn't a day where I could walk on the walkway in peace, without being feeling unsafe or annoyed by the honking of these devices. E scooters especially are way too dangerous as most walkways are narrow and having to share it with pedestrians , cyclists and now e scooter riders , it's causing unnecessary stress for us pedestrians. I strongly disagree with the usage of electric scooters on all walkway.

E-scooter and PMD are too dangerous for footpaths. Either build separate paths for them or ban them entirely.

Allowing something so dangerous on pedestrian paths doesn't make any sense. It's pure insanity, especially in Singapore where these paths are very narrow.

Too many fatal accidents already n the no. of such accidents will only increase with more on pathways. The innocent ones must be protected.

It is really very dangerous even at the current allowed speed. I had a close shave a couple of times and those riders were coming so fast that there would not have been enough reaction time for both. For the safety of all, esp the young and the old, please ban escooter and all personal mobility device ("PMD"). As mothers with young kids, l have sleepless nights after seeing all the accident reports involving PMD.

It must be banned before another pedestrian becomes a victim. I have seen many youngsters riding escooters at high speeds without any thought for the pedestrians' safety. They just zoomed past without alerting the pedestrians.

E scooters should be banned in Singapore. The walkways have become an unsafe place for everyone especially for the elderly. There is simply no way that the walkway in Singapore can accommodate both pedestrians and e scooters
