Ban??? are we PMD riders a cyclists at full fault?? THINK CAREFULLY.!!!!!! pedestrians are either always on earpiece with loud musics or engross to the phone and be come a phone zombie and never keep alert on your surrounding.. when we ring the bell can you even hear it??? Dun push all the blames on US when you as a pedestrians should do YOUR parts too. NOW you are attacking ALL Riders. Not all riders are reckless and if that because of some of them do that and you want to give a "death penalty" to all users? Human jaywalking on the road why You all dun say yourselves that you are breaking the law? For the sake, PLEASE have this in mind. PMDS are NOT ALLOW to be on the road. I know that you had seen PMDS on road. I do agree that all these riders are black sheeps and need to be caught and bring to justice. BUT DUN put this minority percent to everyone of us are doing that!!!!! this petition is just a biases and to only people who HATE PMD users. Next time when you are ordering food and when the food arrive to you is cold, Dun Blame on the delivery personnel coz is those people who support Ban of escooters ASKED for it. Sign Off

I am very horrified with the fact that electric scooter riders are still allowed to ride on roads and or pedestrian walkways and etc. LTA can’t be everywhere Everyday and at every second so riders do not care but still continue riding wherever they want to. As written in articles, that it takes time for the escooter riders to slow down when a person appears in front of him from side corners, what a seriously dangerous situation to be in. I have encountered escooters who still continue riding even at construction areas where the opposite entrances are hidden and cannot be seen. Even if mirrors are put there at the entrance/end of the constructed walkways, these riders do not look at it at all neither do they give way to pedestrians. Instead they ALWAYS expect to be given way. I have even jumped out of the way for two escooters that were coming in the opposite directions, where I was walking normally in the middle but always on the look out for them. Thank God i saw both of them coming if not it would have been too late. To walk down the streets in fear of a collision from regardless of the age of the riders is not an ideal situation to be living in Everyday. I sincerely hope that the correct and proper enforcement be looked into and hopefully result towards the ban of escooters.

A young kid almost knocked me and my 6 month old baby. Enforcement is not possible, please ban e scooters

I always see young punks under 18 speed on footpaths and roads with their girlfriend and many times they don't need to alert you when they pass by. They don't slow down and it's very dangerous.

Lmao almost got knocked by one while walking down a flight of stairs towards the pedestrain path. That particular incident woke me up to how dangerous these toys can be in the hands of unlicensed, uneducated people. We need better regulation of ownership and if not, a complete ban until we figure out how to eliminate the threat they pose to pedestrains.

If the ban is not a complete elimination, than I would strongly ask that they be ban in housing void decks where many senior citizens have to use when they get out of their home.

Wheelchairs and alike are meant for the disabled and classified under Class 1 licence....unfortunately our HOME team has forgotten their home laws

Good suggestion but Im not paying for that path...They use it...they pay it

1. E-scooters are basically motorcycles now. They can cause as much damage as a motorbike when they hit you given their speed and weight. 2. A lot of riders install loud music systems which is a terrible source of noise pollution especially in the middle of the nights. 3. How does E-scooters contribute to our Healthy Living slogan? I see more and more oversized people refusing to cycle or walk and sit comfortably on their E-Scooters. 4. How do they solve our traffic problem? Buses and trains still need to be filled with commuters. Would you rather have 50 people seated in a bus? Or 50 E-scooters rampaging on our pedestrian paths? Just look at how people dump rented bikes everywhere. I know this is out of topic but my point is SORRY SINGAPORE..we are just not ready for this kind of culture yet...20 years later...maybe

They ride at dangerous speeds, think they own the world and expect pedestrians to give way. They don't give two hoots about children and elderly and anyone else. Most of these fast riders are young and don't know better. How many more people have to be hurt in order for the government to do something? Only when an "important" or "high profile" person gets hurt, will they take stricter action? Pedestrian walkways are to keep pedestrians safe from cars and bicycles, why not escooters?
