Just do your job and get this mess taken care of... there is no excuse, period.

This is an emergency situation. It is an extreme health hazard. I can not believe our officials have let it continue for this long. It is surprising that an unsuspecting citizen hasn't stepped on a contaminated needle. And then where would we be, the county would most likely be sued and the health of this individual would be horribly compromised. Surely those of us who have paid taxes year after year deserve a clean and healthy city and environment.

I feel bad but they just won't clean up and our city has so much trash. Something needs to be done.

I can't believe I have to sign a petition to get someone to enforce the law! Los Angeles started enforcement of their laws in February, 2017, so no surprise that our populations have increased!

A bad situation made worse. Establish a shelter for the homeless.

In 2013 I used to walk or ride my bike to work on the river trail from Fountain Valley to Costa Mesa. It was beautiful. I'd count the squirrels and bunnies along the way as a part of my morning until a couple of years ago when it became unsafe and unsanitary. The homeless are there using drugs out in the open. They are urinating and defecating publicly and are on every corner with their signs begging for money. Sometimes they'll wait in the fast food drive-thru area to harass people who are held captive while waiting for food. Laws are very blatantly being broken and law enforcement is not protecting or serving. I am disturbed that people behave shamelessly out in the open without consequences.

Used to take my kids riding thru that area down to the beach, and cannot anymore - dirty, unsanitary and unsafe. Used to stop at each of the new parks - no longer.

This is public land for all to use within the laws in place.

This is not just camping this is squatting, this is not just one groups land, it is all for us to use.

There are places for these people to go but they won't unless these ordinances are enforced. Others will stop coming here from all over if they see Anaheim is enforcing the law. These people in the camps are making choices everyday to stay and not make a change in their life because there are programs in place to help them.

We care about the homeless but we have to find a better way since people who walk and bike along that area are put at risk and it will only get worse and grow in population if something is not done.

My family was harassed by a homeless advocate, and several of the homeless people for many months. Using their Obamacare taxpayer paid phone to threaten us. Enough.

It's a disgrace what the homeless has been able to do in our City. And officials do NOTHING about it. It's time our City is taken back from these people who don't care about the filth they live in.
