This is so sad, I go to Angel stadium multiple times a year and thought it was a safe place to take my family. I didn't realized they were that close, it is scary and I don't know if we will visit as much as we do now.

As an Anaheim Homeowner, we have seen our parks and trails (such as along the River Bed) taken over, and not suitable as places to take your kids. Please enforce the laws, and get CityNet out there to offer help to those who want it. (Alas, many homeless are service resistant, usually those who break the law with thefts and other crimes.)

I don't appreciate the advocates protecting the rights of the homeless. No one really cares about how the residents feel and our concerns.

I have to pay to camp when we go to a designated camping area and I'm also paying to have the homeless camp on the riverbed that was paid for in part by my tax dollars!!! And it's no longer safe for me to run on.

The County and City need to enforce this ordinance and create more. We need solutions for those homeless who want solutions. We need to stop enabling the many homeless who don't want solutions. We need to eliminate an environment that will only attract many more of the U.S. homeless to migrate here; this is only the beginning. Establishing homeless bathrooms, showers, and services at our Riverbeds, City Parks, and County Parks makes homeless encampments permant and sets the precedent for many more to follow.

As a former teacher of vocational education in Orange and adjacent counties, I know for a fact that there is FREE assistance, education in various interesting lines of work that lead to PROFITABLE jobs and more, if a person is willing to do some legwork, sign up and show up. There is nothing but increased crime and danger for those living near these camps, especially from the roving bands that bike through neighborhoods, collecting odds and ends (and other things) to maintain their way of life.

I've learned that the various police authorities don't claim certain land parcels as within their jurisdiction - so no one is taking responsibility. The underpass at the 91 and Harbor Blvd, Anaheim is an example. City won't claim it, county won't claim it, and the state won't claim it. Is the same true with the Santana Ana River adjoining land? Scary!!!!

how can I help get rid of these drug addicts that don't want help, they just want somewhere they can do their drugs and live for free. there is no reason to b homeless in orange county, there is so much help here, they just cant do their drugs at the shelters so they don't want to stay.

My wife and I used to use the trail, I would bike and she would rollerblade (dork!). It started slowly with the occasionally cat call or slurred remark, then it became a situation where the homeless, drug addict scum would block the path. Then they had their pit bulls walking around. Then there was human feces on the side of the trail. We stopped going there, it's gross and make me resent cops and our state and county government. Do your job! A law is a law, do your damn job and enforce them!

This has to be enforced county wide. Otherwise, they will just migrate from city to city till they find a safe haven. Homelessness is such a serious problem that has been pushed aside way too long and now its out of control. The solution is not letting them camp where ever they please.
