My wife, daughter & I own and run a small restaurant employing 2 grandkids and 8 employees in Oak Harbor. We have been open for 11 years and proudly serve many active and retired military men & women. I can honestly say that we would not be able to sustain this business if NAS Whidbey Island were to move or cease operations. I believe that many other businesses in this area would also be greatly negatively effected. I support the base and the use of OLF in Coupeville. There is a very vocal and well organized minority, mainly on the south end of the island, who seek to have the base closed. They do not speak for the majority or me. I support NASWI and ask for your continued support to grow the operation of the base and to strengthen our National defense.

We need this base on the island. To sucure the safety of this side of the states. To many bases have closed from all over California. It has given growth to the people.
