I really can't understand why someone would move near an airport, then complain about noise. Maybe they should live near a cemetery.

Here's to our fine, brave , and highly skilled Men and Woman of the Armed Forces. They should not be impeded in their work and training by a bunch of whiners!! That Base was there first; if you don't like the noise, move somewhere else-- and please check it out FIRST this time!!!

NAS Whidbey Island is a bulwark of defense for our great nation here in the NW corner and a pillar of the economy for Whidbey Island as well as surrounding communities in Skagit & Whatcom County.
The men & women at NAS Whidbey Island deserve our support for their on-going training as they maintain their valuable skills betwixt deployments.
I STRONGLY SUPPORT NAS Whidbey Island !

lived under the flight past in/around Oak Harbor, depending on which house at the time, for 30+ years, plus 7 years on Camano Island directly across Saratoga Passage on Camano Island even with the OLF. Now I live in Anacortes, and sometimes, the Growlers fly overhead here, if they're on that particular flight path for the day. Yes, the noise is a nuisance, but it has never been so constant that it has been a hazard to my health or hearing. I've always believed that training our flight crews outweigh any inconvenience their noise could possibly make to me. Most of these complainers are fairly new residents, who should have asked more questions when they knew a naval air station was nearby. I have no sympathy for them and believe their complaints hazardous and perhaps even treasonous to our national defense. I totally support NAS Whidbey Island and the Growler community.

Every time that a trio of Super Hornets flies over my place on the upper Dungeness River--Flight Leader out front, wingmen in tight-- (Our home for 40 yrs) I beg for afterburner. THE SOUND OF FREEDOM! Go Navy! Note: I have never been a member of the USN.

Help support our men and women who fly these "national security assets". They DESERVE our support. Don't like the noise? Move! The Navy, the airfields, and the jet noise were here long before most folks in Oak Harbor.
