For those who wish to complain, that "noise" represents your constitutional right to do so. God Bless America...let Freedom continue to ring at NAS Whidbey Island!

Please don't shut this base. It's so important to National Security. So many people are proud to say that they were/are stationed there.

I did my time in the Navy and loved it and we have lived under the flight path of OLF for almost 14 years and so far we are not deaf or suffering from degrading health issues and we support the Navy ad all the planes 100%.

I support the Navy on Whidbey Island, and do not support any group that would displace us or degrade the training our troops get.

Nothing says Whidbey more than admiring the Navy jets flying above and enjoying everything they do for our local community and economy. I have enjoyed having NAS and the squadrons around since growing up there in the 1980s. When it came my turn to serve, I eventually did much of my reserve time at NAS Whidbey, these are the finest airmen, seamen, hospitalmen, corpsmen and seabees you could ask for and they give exceptionally well to help out in and around the sound with the civilian community. I don't know how many times the sailors will roll up their sleeves and contribute their free time on a day off, or provide aid in SAR missions. NAS Whidbey is a remarkable model of how a base and a local community should function together. We are very happy to share our Island with them and to hear the reassuring sound of freedom flying overhead.

Lived in Oak Harbor for 21 years (1971-1992) and appreciate the contribution of the US Navy to our national defense and our local community. The Navy should continue its presence and its full spectrum of necessary activity on Whidbey Island.

NAS Whidbey Island is vital to our community in every way. It is our economic engine. Navy staff and families are our friends, coworkers, and neighbors.
