I am not #redbirdproud, I am #redbirdashamed. This is unacceptable. If you want a single cent in donations from this future alum, you'd better fix this. ISU employees should not be receiving starvation wages when our (unremarkable and unprofitable) athletics department boondoggles away millions each and every year.

The university functions because the people who prepare and serve food, keep the buildings clean, and keep the grounds maintained and beautiful work hard to contribute to the university environment. They deserve to be paid a living wage.

We have seen strikes working all over the country and in our own state. I'd rather we not have to strike just to get what we need as workers of the university, but I'm sure we'd do it if push came to shove.
Negotiate with the Unions!
