Issues on Sixth form dress code

How awful, one of the reasons I chose to move to a different sixth form.

I agree that the petition issued is perfectly suitable for young adults in the workplace

I agree that it does not affect education, and that these are young adults

I agree that Liam’s guidelines are more than appropriate for 6th Form

I think the younger teens should be free to dress to this dress code that liam is offering as it is not strict and meets the guidelines for looking appropriate for Work.

I AGREE, THIS IS APPAULING

It’s becoming less popular, I’ve noticed, for 6th Forms to have a dress code realistically, I once was a high school teacher for 19 years before I had a career change in 2014. A lot more personality and sparkle was shown around lower and upper 6th since the change and I think this should apply for this school too. Thank you and good luck Year 12 & 13!

A petty policy. Has the school more lost its sense of direction ?

Strict Dress codes are pointless and ridiculous. This is all about control and conformity, and nothing to do with the quality of education

Help these young adults to express themselves and teach them how to be smart and casual. Encourage and teach them respect

They are young citizens let them dress smart casual, show you respect them as young adults.

I attended this sixth form and i did not have to wear restricted items of clothing, basically this is a uniform you are keeping the students to.

Treat them as young adults and allow them to wear what they choose

Don’t understand how the school can let the year above have the right to dress freely while restricting the lower year completely unfair.

Why say they are wearing these clothes to ‘get ready for work’ if this rule isn’t implemented onto the year 13s?
