City of Calgary & Government of BC Canada should issue Taxi Plate to Taxi Drivers, instead Dispatch Companies or Brokers. Brokers made millions with blessing of some politicians getting huge donations. Taxi Plate Brokers system is contradiction of Municipal Government Act, Competition Act, Charter of Rights, Rights to have Association, Freedom of speech. Taxi Drivers do one of most dangerous & stressful job, working longer hours to survive. Taxi Plate Brokers ignore Taxi Drivers basic rights & investment & ignore public's serious concerns. Taxi Drivers fought up to Supreme Courts lost almost their homes to lawyers. Supreme Court decide City has Right to do so. Why City's Rights can't be used to protect thousands of Cab Drivers, rather than couple corrupt brokers. Cab Drivers aren't free to speak up can't be organized under Brokers system.
