International Shiloh Shepherd Dog Club
Several of the ISSDC Board of Directors are attempting to wrongfully remove the ISSDC duly-elected President, Nicole Ziemer without cause or evidence. Nicole has consistently urged the current BOD to adhere to the constitution and bylaws of the club. As the BOD continues to operate outside the bylaws, Nicole has continuously stood strong and has tried to advocate in the best interest of the club and its members. Because Nicole will not stop advocating in the best interest of the club, several of the BOD members want her gone. We need membership to get involved and be heard!
Pursuant to ISSDC Constitution and Bylaws, Article III, Section 1 ISSDC Meetings, 1.2 Special ISSDC Meetings, this petiton will serve as notice to call an ISSDC Special Meeting for the membership on March 29, 2025 at 7:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time.
This will be an electronic meeting which will include the entire ISSDC membership that are in good standing. Should there be need for a vote resulting from this meeting, it will be conducted electronically after the meeting and include the full in good standing membership with minutes posted in the Members Only Forum prior to the next meeting of the Board of Directors, Art. III, Sect. 1, 1.2.
At this ISSDC Special Meeting, the following topic will be discussed by the membership: The attempted wrongful removal of the ISSDC President without factual evidence to support this action, by several Board of Directors (BOD) members.
10 percent of the membership, all in good standing, will need have signed this petition which would fulfil the requirement of Art. III, Sect. 1, 1.2 ISSDC Special Meetings, which ensures the membership is given a Special Meeting.
If you feel that the ISSDC BOD has gained and maintained too much power and wish to see power rightfully restored within the ISSDC membership, please sign this ISSDC Special Meeting petition.

THIS MOMENTUM IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! I AM BLOWN AWAY BY THE STRENGTH OF OUR COMMUNITY AND THE WAY WE ARE UNITING TO DEFEND OUR PRESIDENT!! THE ENERGY IS LITERALLY ELECTRIC RIGHT NOW AND WE ARE SHOWING EVERYONE THAT THE MEMBERSHIP DEMANDS ACCOUNTABILITY!!

I am signing this because I feel the membership should be included in something this significant.
In the interest of fairness and transparency I think the membership needs to be fully informed of what is going on behind the scenes. A Zoom meeting where members can log in and attend might serve to get things clarified. We don’t need our club to fold due to infighting.
Please, our board should be transparent as elected officials.

I am sure I won't be popular for my following comments, but I have been involved in Shilohs since 1998 and have seen Registries and clubs come and go. BOD meetings are to follow Robert's Rules and By-laws, they are written for a reason. Meetings are posted of the agenda and voting. The internal dealings of meeting are to be confidential, which obviously this has not been keep confidential or this petition would not be here. Unless you are part of the actual meetings you as a member do not know what is actually occurring during meetings. I am not sure who started this petition, but if it was not a BOD member than you are going on rumors and heresay. A person can't be removed unless there is "just cause" (to many meetings not attended ) or other major infractions. By-laws are written to be followed for instances that it is necessary.!! If followed and enough board members feel there is a "just cause" for removal then it is their right and obligation to the members to follow By-laws and remove the person in question. Obviously, there is some kind of a major issue. We have board members on the current board that have been on the board in different positions over many years. Meeting minutes of a vote to remove someone would state the reasons for "just cause" to remove so members will be informed as to why if and when it occurs. By-laws would be stated. It isn't something that occurs willy nilly. Who is in charge of conducting this meeting? How do we know the truth is being stated? Many questions I have. Now that I have said this, personally I am tired of members of our club interfering in something that they don't have total facts of/or gossip from people that don't understand what confidential means. How many of you have stepped up and volunteered to be on this board? How many of you got on the board, and never followed through with the commitment? I personally can't be on the board due to my association with the TSSR. Thus said trust the BOD
Protocols need to be followed. No idea the basis but we have rules for a reason

I haven't seen any wrongdoing as a new member of ISSDC from Nicole. This seems to be based on ego and control which is uncalled for in trying to oust someone for upholding the Constitution and Bylaws of the ISSDC without any cause or evidence. A unique and special club for these beautiful and wonderful Shiloh's needs an advocate like Nicole.
