Stunned Animals meat is haram and as a Muslim I would stop eating chicken meat ect, this will be against our freedom of religion practice to have stunned animals meat..

Even nandos stun the chicken the 'halal' nandos it's not even halal and I personally have read the information on there own website

Islam prohibits the torture of animals prior to its slaughter, so much so that it is commanded by the Almighty that an animal shouldn't even be shown the blade it is going to be slaughtered with and it should be done quickly so the animal doesn't experience trauma etc cutting the jugular veins at the throat has been proven to be less painful as the blood to the brain stops flowing and no pain is felt. Therefore, electrical stunning should be banned in all cases as the animal experiences torture prior to its death!
