This petition began as a knee jerk reaction to news that Britain, were again holding talks with Argentina, where agreements are being made, which have a huge impact on our lives, with out there being any consultation with us until after the fact.
It has evolved, for me personally into being about so much more, it is about the value of value itself and about the things which money can not buy, it is about the endangered species, which is human nature! The Falkland Islands has something worth saving, we here in the Falklands are one of the few peoples on the planet who still have a degree of freedom, although it is disappearing before our very eyes! No one is fighting back, those who are awake have lost heart and hope. Whats the point, no one ever listens.......and those who are still asleep, can only see the value of money! Yet it is that very money which will result in the eventual loss of the very freedom that brave souls have fought and died for all over this planet, in countless wars against oppression.

My life has so far consisted of 49 years, 2 months and 7 days, of that life, about 45 years has been spent living under the specter of your countries mythical claim on the land of my ancestors! I need not take another second to know, that you and your people are deluded and that the Falklands belong to the Falkland Islanders! Tell me, what are your plans, should you ever successfully steal the Islands from us?
Who can and who can't go to the Falklands should be down to the islanders and nobody else. RIP 255 British servicemen it would appear your sacrifice was for nothing.
Argentines all ready cause enough trouble when they visit, encouraging more of them to visit merely increases their belief that the Falklands are theirs. Until they drop their claim, there should be strict controls in place to control their behaviour when visiting. We wouldn't be allowed to do the kinds of things they do in their country, they should not be able to do them here.
Let us never forget those lives that were given So that we could live the lives of our choosing. Argentina say we don’t exist That we are implanted people we must resist. They want our homeland our homes to take This latest agreement is a huge mistake.
Argentina should be told a flat 'No' - Malcorra et al are trying to repackage the 1971 Communications Agreement, which was one of the UK's most shameful acts. Don't be fooled twice. Don't give them hope...we have been here before.

Maximiliano Volonte - you are talking rubbish. There were no Argentines ever living in the Falklands 200 year ago. There were never Argentines living in OUR Islands. No indigenous populations. You need to check your history facts. Secondly the U.N. has never voted in favour of the Argentine claim to the Islands. It has passed a resolution calling on Britain and Argentine to discuss sovereignty but has never backed the Argentine claim.
