Winter Park has been very successful at marketing our community as a wonderful place for families. A Marijuana Shop at the entrance to our town does not support this image. Yes, this issue is important to our kids, but also our entire community.

I not only find the approval for the Serene Wellness Marijuana Store's location at 79025 US Highway 40, unit five and six, Winter Park, CO 80482 unacceptable for the children's sake, but also for all residents of and visitors to the Winter Park community. One pot store is one too many!

As a homeowner in Winter Park, I strongly oppose the application by Serene Wellness V to operate a marijuana business at 79025 US Hwy 40. That the applicants represent themselves as being in Winter Park is a lie, the location is nearby school bus stops, parks, public walking/biking paths used by children and violates/undermines the right of the people of our town to say NO to marijuana businesses--which they did over 2 years ago.
