We have been waiting for months for our tax refund!! We call and call and are told something different each time...we were encouraged to file as early as possible and now, most early filers(January Filers) are STILL WAITING ON THEIR MONEY for NO REASON that the IRS can tell us. We need our money NOW and are tired of waiting!!! No one is speaking of this on the news, so maybe they are unaware of the millions still waiting on their tax refund!!!

I’d advise anyone waiting over 6 weeks to call the IRS, and tell them you to be assigned a Tax Advocate! They will give the IRS deadlines and will get things done a lot quicker! Everyone has a right to a TA, and they are here to represent you against the IRS and are completely free! Don’t ever let the IRS tell you can’t have a TA it is your right as a tax payer!
Been waiting since 1/22 for my refund went under review on 2/15 for 45 days...when 45 days was up went back under review again on 3/26 said it will be up 4/12 now I'm under a 60 day review until 5/1 and still have no clue what's going on with my refund.
I’m a single full time working mom with a mortgage and all bills I pay without government assistance. I depend on that return to pay my mortgage for half of the year which I budgeted for the end of February. The tax advocate says you are holding my return for MONTHS to verify ONE W-2 that I could easily fax in myself! Why can’t I?? Why do I have to wait for MONTHS?? I’m being told this is for MY protection?? Protrection from what?? While your busy doing holding my refund for NO REASON I’m late on all of my bills that I can’t pay because I am using that money to pay my mortgage that wasn’t supposed to be paid with tax money the past TWO months. So none of this is for MY protection!
This tax season has been the worst ever, just alittle history for you guys. I filed 2/2 accepted the same day. I called back in March 13 an was told under a 45 day review then I called a week later an told a 60 day review. I havet called anymore since then an here it is now April still without my return. I'm a single mother of one kid who I have claimed for the past 4 years nothing has changed on my return. I'm really getting behind on all my bills an it's just getting really hard waiting an waiting on my money that is mine. I hope this will help move our returns along.
I have been getting nowhere with them. They told me I didn’t need to do anything. They keep pushing things back. Some of the irs reps are so rude, we’re just as frustrated as them. We need answers. They’re being held up for no reason. They’re telling people to amend or no refund will be released but you’ve three years to do so. This tax season has been the worst, so many people are under review. What’s going on?? I got letter saying don’t do anything nothing needs to be done basically just wait whenever decide to release it. WE WANT JUSTICE!

Hi.I am just one of those people who have been waiting on a tax return,I have been evicted due to this matter really thought I could catch up on some bills,now me & my 5kids are staying place to place homeless.The irs has been holding many peoples income tax many people have faced hardships lost homes,cars.Please help us.Thank you!
