Petition for Synthetic All-Weather Playing Surface

Make it safer for our student athletes

Turf is the best long term solution and will get the most use.

Turf gives the opportunity for multiple sports and physical education to use and give our athletes and students the opportunities surrounding schools are providing.

Vote for turf only.

It’s time Iroquois invests to keep up with other school districts. I support any investment that provide students with facilities for athletics like this that gets kids outside and exercising!

Growing up playing field hockey on a turf field was beyond beneficial for my team, not to mention: football team, both girls & boys soccer, both girls & boys lacrosse teams, track & field and outdoor P.E. classes that every student would be able to take advantage of day in & day out. You would be able to host more games/ events at your stadium, bringing in more crowds to our town, spending money at our local businesses. My hope is that each of my children would have the same luxuries that I had growing up when it comes to a great complex with turf.

We need turf to be relevant in 2020.

Artificial turf will safe money in long run. No water, painting strips, cutting grass, fuel, materials and the labor to maintain said grass. It can also be used for other sports.

Turf, turf, turf! Let’s put these kids on a level playing field with the other school districts already!

A turf field would be an excellent addition to Iroquois. The field can give our athletes better playing and training facilities. We are currently at a disadvantage compared to other local schools and to schools across the state.

My son is a student at Iroquois. I am asking that you reconsider a grass football field and go with synthetic turf.

Turf is the only way to go to get maximum use year around.

The turf field is essential for our athletes. It is imperative that the board supports it.
