I had a wonderful and positive experience running track for Iroquois. I think current and future student athletes deserve that too. The track was outdated during my time (graduated 2013), and surely has worsened by now. Please consider re-surfacing the track and associated runways so that future athletes can have the experience they deserve.

This is not about keeping up with the Jones’. This is not about winning (at least not on the playing field). Our community is sending a message that athletics helps mold our children into leaders and coachable adults. While we can safely assume that only a handful of Iroquois kids will play at a high level beyond high school, we all know that they will all age and hopefully become employable adults. Sports helps mold their abilities for the remainder of their lives. Why limit them? Why validate that the majority of other kids in WNY (with schools investing in these leadership opportunities) have a head start, especially when we live in a community that has the resources to do so?
Trust me, I agree, it’s important to have a “rainy day” fund at Iroquois. However the rain (ironically) disallows our children to play at their own school sometimes.
Please, this is not just about voting with your head (the numbers speak for themselves) but voting with your heart. Let’s confirm our future leaders are supported at ICS!

To the board...remove the proposed option of a new grass field on the ballot! Turf or nothing

Iroquois is the one of the last school districts left without turf. We have the money to do it, it’s only going to improve our programs

We need an all weather field! It isn't keeping up with the Joneses- we need to stay competitive within our divisions! The "farmers" are still playing on grass. Nice place for frisbee and livestock, not so much for competitive play!!!!

This is an ongoing issue and the fact it remains unresolved is crazy! My friend ran for the school board 2 years ago to rectify this Very situation! Our kids’ sports are important and this is an absolute no-brainer!
