I do not want the of my nation's confederacy on the name of an alcoholic drink. It is stereotypical "a drunken Indian" and it very derogatory. We do not even allow the sale of alcohol on our territories, which is near Buffalo NY not to mention the 5 other Nations of the Iroquois Confederacy.

Hello I am signing this petition against the bringing back the beer "Iroquios". Being an elected official of the Seneca Nation and also being part of the Iroquois conferderacy, its a slap in face to all of us, considering the history of alcohol to our people. Please do not revive the beer "Iroquois". Name it something different.

While I disagree that your use of the name Iroquois is necessarily derogatory, unless your brewing company is owned by native peoples of the six nations, you have no right to use this Iroquois name and I too will boycott all your products and encourage others to do so as well.

Buffalo doesn't need hurtful stereotypes -- and if you aren't native you shouldn't be making a profit off native peoples' names, images, or styles!! This is despicable.

I find CBW's choice to reopen an old wound in an era when schools, college, and professional sports teams across the country are finally acknowledging that their past choices have been harmful to be inexcusable, and an embarrassment to forward thinking people of WNY. Our Haudenosaunee brothers and sisters past, present and future deserve to be treated with not just their long overdue respect, but as equals. Neither I nor my large family or friends will be patronizing this establishment, and I'll make certain to inform everyone I know to consider spending their money elsewhere as well. Shame on you!

End this negative stereotype and using natives to sell your drink. If not, seneca people are going to target the people who are in your beer drinking demographic and let them know that this is some racist crap and we are against it.
They should do it under a different name that's more appropriate for the modern era
