I heard some residents write down their water meter number before and after the mud bath and turn in to the city for a discount. Is this true? When was this put out and how does everyone get this discount?

I live in Ironwood Township and am not on the city water system, but eat at local restaurants and coffee shops. I would expect food and beverages be prepared with clear clean water. The city of Ironwood's water is a disgrace and a public safety hazard!

This has been an ongoing problem for a very long time and needs to get fixed. I go to Bessemer once a week to fill up tons of water jugs at the spring because of how bad our water is. I wont even give to my animals it’s so bad at times.

Without doubt a problem exists and little appears to be done . Water/sewer rates are outrageous yet raises are given out, contracts of 5 years are extended, etc. One waste I always felt is why do we need a Blight Officer?

This water is the worst I've ever seen. I'm scared to even bathe my children in it half the time. When I do their skin is so dry, itchy, and irritated it makes me sick. My tub is upstairs so I have to boil water and carry it upstairs just to give them a bath where they dont come out dirtier than they went in. I have to buy bottled water to drink and cook with so what exactly am I paying for again? This is ridiculous and someone needs to do something about it. And I thought Wakefield water was nasty...

The water was nasty dirty as far as i remember, not to mention how many article of clothing got ruined! And the cost was terrible especially when you really didn't make much income and a good part went to water only and there was only me and my daughter in the house.
