Please have a heart and rehome all stay / lost dogs and not put them down...
Please work with local charities in the best interest of these animals...

Now all dog owners must legally micro chip their dogs but yet the pounds are not obliged to scan any stray dogs that end up in their possession. It is a case of "do as I say not as I do".how can the advantages of microchipping be promoted yet on the other hand the pounds do not take it seriously. Every dog should be scanned to see if they have a registered chip because their owners may be searching frantically for them-even the most loved dogs might go walk abouts unknown to their owners. I had a lead snap on me once when I was walking my dog and she saw someone we know and ran off after them but luckily she didn't go too far. It is frightening to think that if she had kept running and ended up in the pound they may not have checked her for a chip. It should be mandatory that pounds check for chips.

They want to live as much as every other living being wants to live. Its not their fault they have fallen into the circumsr they have, they should be given a chance !

Please scan for owners & post on lost & found sites around the country so people can find their pets!

5 days is ridiculous for ppl to find their babies if they are taken from one end of the country and brought to the other. Pts should be abolished. Rehoming should be the drive.
