There are charities out there who have no money who try everything to rehome every single stray animal out there!!!! Gov funded pounds then just put them down. Ye should be ashamed of yourselves!!! Rehome them! They all deserve a chance at the very least!!!

I think its a good idea to re home them...otherwise they will just be replaced by a newer puppy...Whats the point in that ?

Five days is far to short a period for (a) owners of a list dog to find out which pound their dog is in or (b) to give time for potential new owners to be checked and to prepare for taking the dog to its new home. One month would be far better.

These are poor animals horrible people don't want after Christmas etc and when they are not wanted these poor animals suffer being put to sleep for no reason and not put up for someone who would love and care for them. This act for putting dogs down is barbaric and really old fashioned, update the system in saving animals lives.
