The scale of this response confirms the systemic delays at the Etobicoke office are widespread. I am currently compiling the data to include in a formal inquiry for the Immigration Minister. Further instructions on how we will present this information to the department will follow once the draft is finalized.

Why etobicoke office not giving any updates while others getting PR. Mine file stuck in this office now 16 months
I got AOR from Sep , 2022 from Etobicoke and until now nothing request, nothing update,. Nothing information show up when I use check application status online. We did work hard for almost 3 years at here My wife upset and she want to give up everything and back to my hometown, because we feel we are prisons in Canada Please make it works again VO Etobicoke.
Je vous en supplie, réveillez le VO d'Etobicoke. Nos dossiers y son en stand bail depuis 8 mois sans aucune mise à jour donc, donc aucune lueur d'espoir. Avons nous eu tord de croire au rêve Canadien ???

I am Aor november, the last update on my profile was on 29 November since then no update, it was in Montreal then transferred to Etobicoke. I really want to go to Canada, and by waiting I feel like my life is on hold, please accelerate the processing of my file. Sincerely
