Making these so called NFA items against the law is a violation of our second amendment right! Also charging a tax on such items is a violation as well!

This seriously needs to happen. We look like idiots for not doing what most of the country has done. Also, this would be put to well use hunting coyote.

This like the CCW laws would be a great financial avenue for iowans. We have shown out responisibility in the last 3 years. This will be useful at gun ranges and will only be purchased by gun enthusiasts. Thank you

Why is it legal to have a suppressor in 39 states and not here. Lets become number 40 and Support our 2nd ammendment rights. I am a law abiding citizen. I also want to protect my hearing and the hearing of others. That is why I want a suppressor!

We also need to take away that $200 tax so that the military can affordably issue silencers to its regular troops instead of just the special forces. The Army does not cover hearing loss, and when I was in Iraq I certainly didn't wear hearing protection. It was more important that I could hear where I was getting shot at from. I'm sure that local Iowa Police departments could benefit from this as well.

It would be great if Iowa would recognize our freedoms that were granted by our founding fathers. This would be a great step in the safety of law abiding citizens.

Legalizing the use of Silencers would help so many people out. I hate having to wear hearing protection while I am out hunting. It basically takes away my sense of hearing while I am trying to listen for deer.
