I would say it’s a terrible service at the weekends, but due to zero aircraft going to Belfast at the weekend it’s more a case of no service

Have lived on the island for 5 years now and used to travel back to ni quite a lot to see family. This is now nearly impossible for me to do. I can’t take extra time off work to use the Eastern airway service to go back for a weekend. If I fly to Dublin it’s nearly 12 at night on a Friday by the time I get up north to my family so little point for 1 day and night to have to travel back to Dublin on a Sunday morning again. Don’t get me started on the flights through manchester! It’s a disgrace that the links with Ireland are so poor! Please please do something!

The infrastructure to and from the IOM and Ireland/N Ireland is extremely poor and needs much improvement, as well as regulation on flight and sail prices! If you are to encourage people to come and work here and stay then you need to change and improve things!

I have an elderly mother in Northern Ireland and am finding it hugely difficult to travel to see her on a regular basis, especially with the reduced flights situation and the new route via Manchester which is running through Flybe. Was recently quoted 5hrs and 50min travel time to Belfast via Manchester for what used to be a 20 minute direct flight!! Along with the very pricey fare, I think that says it all. Please improve this situation!

We need to have better service available to all Irish people on the Island. City Wing were reliable and punctual and reasonable prices if booked in advance. So sorry to see them gone. We need the Government to prioritise their residents who live here. No boats on from September to April. ..only one going on 23rd Dec --back on New Years Eve. Very convenient! !!

Prices are way too high!! The lack of flights to NI is rediculous - Especially with the fact that the boat stops from October to April!!!

This needs to be sorted quickly as many residents like us have family in NI who are unable to cope with multiple flights in a day. It also means travelling to visit takes so much longer and reduces quality time with family when we do arrive!

I totally support this petition as I have an elderly mother in law in Northern Ireland who we need to visit frequently and at the moment it is just too expensive.mit is costing £400 for her to come over here at xmas as she needs a direct flight not one that stops in Manchester first!!!
No weekend flights puts us in a very difficult position to get over easily too as you have to take time off work at the moment just to facilitate a 2 day break.

We need more flights per day we need fares that people can afford to get home to see their families instead of having to get 2 planes airlines lining their pockets again at our expense
