I have finalized the formal proposal for the acquisition of the 227 acres and submitted it to the City of Houston Parks Department. My next step involves coordinating with local flood mitigation experts to ensure our technical case for water detention remains prioritized in upcoming city budget meetings.

We really need this for flood control. My street floods every time we get a decent rain and the city needs to step up.
PLEASE fix this. The old course is just weeds and trash now. It brings the whole neighborhood down.

Is there any update on this? I remember hearing about it a year ago.
YES. make it a park for the kids in the area. nothing else for them to do around here.

its been an eyesore for way too long. turn it into a park already.
