We live off of the land, here in Nelson County. The water, soil nutrients, and wild plants are all part of our food and our animal's food. The pipeline construction and its potential problems down the road pose a threat to our way of life. And the jobs created are temporary. We need to put our funds and resources into sustainable jobs and power. Please come an visit this very special part of Virginia!

I am extremely worried about the economic negative impact to Wintergreen and surrounding businesses. There must be existing right of ways for the ACP that would still benefit Nelson County and the state of Virginia.

The pipeline is running right through my building site, I've cleared the land already and filed for my septic permit. If the pipeline passes through my property it will make my lot completely unbuildable.

How I vote in elections to come very much depends on how candidates support us in defending our property rights and our pristine terrain here in Nelson County.

Please come visit us, Governor! We'd love to show you our beautiful county and why we are so concerned about the pipeline. Why, come visit on a Friday night and you will hear a crowd cheering "go govs go! Well, that would be for our Nelson County High School football team. But if you come, we can cheer for you to stand with us against the desecration of the pipeline! "Go Gov go!"

Please visit Augusta county, too, Gov. McAuliffe. The pipeline goes through the mountains, forests, by town, schools, and through Stuarts Draft.

Dear Governor McAuliffe: You ran as an environmental candidate. You have been everything but an environmental governor. I personally spoke with you at the Clean Jobs bill signing at Capital One last spring. Everything you said then you have not done. You may know how to talk the talk but you certainly don't walk the walk.

Governor McCauliffe,
I've been running our Inn in Nelson for 28 years. I can assure you that guests don't come here to see pipelines and the related ugliness of a new industrial corridor. Our county and numerous business leaders have been creating Nelson's bursting Tourism Industry for decades. Dominion's pipeline greed threatens our economy and the health and safety of all of us and our fragile planet. Let's talk!
