The momentum behind this idea has become impossible to ignore even when I feel exhausted by the slow pace of progress. It is genuinely heartening to see so many of you holding onto the hope that a banjo playing frog might actually appear in Philly. We are not stopping now.

My daughter was a baby when we first started going to folk fest, it seems very fitting that Kermit be invited.
It’s not easy being green but it’ll be Gret to be seen (and heard) at the Philly Folk Fest.
I would very much like to see you at the Festival this year. You are my favorite green being, hugs!
I love Kermit and it would be wonderful to take a photo with him at my favourite place on Earth with my Muppet tattoo!
Who said that every wish would be heard and answered when wished on a morning star? Somebody thought of that and someone believed it and looks what it's done so far...

I have always loved the Muppets, and this is my first Philly Folk Fest; my fiancé has been to 27 Folk Tests out of his 30 years on this Earth, and it's a huge part of his life. He also loves the Muppets, and Kermit is his favorite; it would mean so much to him for Kermit to be there.
