Zetland Road is slowly starting to thrive with new businesses popping up but we need more help in assissting people to get the forgotten shops back up and running developing new businesses. About time money was spent on town renovation. It was part of an eight year plan, which is out of date.
I remember writing to the council at the time explaining that this length of time was too long.

Loftus has been neglcted to long by the looks of it .I got a shock when i saw the pic tonight on f.b ..My Home town ..makes me so sad allthough i left many years ago allways in my heart Hope it gets back on its feet such lovely memories and great people ....Wish you all the best

This town is consistently overlooked for investment. The potential of the town is huge in the basis of it being near coast and moors. It is a lovely place to live. I have relocated here after 20 years of living in Germany. It needs a chance to thrive.

I came to live here a year ago and would love to see this town busy and with thriving businesses. To get anything it’s a car ride away, how nice would it be to be able to shop local. The boarded up premises look a mess, we need money putting into Loftus?

Loftus was once a vibrant and busy small town. Unfortunately, lack of funding has resulted in boarded up shops and dereliction. Loftus residents deserve investment in their town and surrounding areas.
