I was just out on that road 3 times this week twice at night, the only way I wouldn't be able to see a horse drawn wagon with a reflector on the back of the wagon was if I was running dark ( no lights on) or if I was driving WAY to fast!!!! or not paying attention or DRUNK!!! I have seen a friend who was completely sober who lost control of his car and then over corrected and his sister died in the incident and the DA of that wis county tried to get him for 5 - 15 ,and here a drunken driver kills a WONDERFUL DECENT Daddy and his son and OUR D.A. does NOTHING, he has a track record of doing his own thing and not what should be done this is the 3rd time in the past year that I have witnessed poor decision making with this D.A. Lambert. I am glad that he his being called out non this FOR HE IS WRONG !!!! and should be held accountable!!!!!!

Totally wrong. Are justice system is messed. So it's OK to drink and drive then kill a father and his son and get off. Wow. How sad.

Would there be no charge if it were a car with no lights on?

Driving drunk and winding up in the ditch is bad enough, but it is an entirely different matter when you choose to drive drunk and kill someone. He should answer for the deaths of these two innocent victims of his irresponsible alcoholic actions. If visibility is poor, speed should be adjusted accordingly and defensive driving should be implemented. He did not do that and he killed two people.

This is entirely wrong when your drunk you do not see and your reflexes are really slow

The DA should not be making that decision. A jury of his peers should. That is how our justice system is supposed to work.

Very sad, impaired is impaires, I've seen many accidents caused because of slight impairments due to meda, cold, meds, alcohol. I have never heard of no charges for taking lives. I understand the Las the D A is quoting. But as many people have stated he was impaired, choose to get behind the wheel. If nothing else until a trial has been held to study how much the impairment played in the accident and also the speeding played in his inability to stop, swerve, possible pass safely the DA should never have made this announcement. I smell a rat in office that is doing someone he knows a favor....investigate

I think he should get more he should of never been behind the wheel at all it could have been someone else he hit if someone was walking or a car stalled

I can't believe this guy is innocent??? He is a killer? It's a open and shut book for this case.

There is no excuse for drunk driving. He chose to drive drunk at almost double the legal limit, so now he should face the consequences of his actions.

This court decision was beyond unjust! Drunk driving that resulted in 2 dead (father and SON, no less) and nothing but a citation for impaired driving?! Fix this Wood County!!

Are you kidding me? This only shows everyone you can drink and drive AND kill people and get away with it. What happened to harder drinking laws people?

Such injustice. As someone who has seen Seth drink and then drive all too often, I fear for the next person at risk because of his actions. Attorney Lambert should be held accountable when Seth (or anyone else this affects as precedence) get behind the wheel and injure or kill again.
