I would think that a person who has been drinking over the legal limit and kills two people should be charged with homicide. Legally he was not driving legally in the first place, and if he would have been obeying the law and not driving, this accident never would have happened.

this warrants an investigation, as do many things in the Wood County District attorneys office

Regardless of limited visibility, the guy was drunk & KILLED 2 people. What the hell is wrong with this system? I'd be in prison for life if that happened to me. This is just more proof of how unjust the system really is, and why I don't respect it. People get heavier penalties for possessing marijuana. What a disgrace!

Almost two times the legal limit!!! There is no way he shouldn't have gotten homicide charges. Set an example wood county!!! You drink and drive then kill someone and you will get punished.

It is very unfortunate that this happened. With the numerous accounts of OWIs in WI it is unfortunate that when lives are lost and a high blood-alcohol concentration found that charges of homicide is not carried through. What is this teaching the younger generation about actions and consequences of drinking and driving. Very unfortunate. My prayers to the Kempf Family.

If it would've been another vehicle (English) he would've been charged with quite a few charges n found guilty

2 lives were taken from their family & the person that did it is getting away with vehicular homicide. That guy needs to pay for what he did to that family.

Such a tragedy should. Not go unpunished.

This is not right at all! So if the guy hit a person on a bicycle while he was above the legal limit, he would've been charged accordingly as vehicular manslaughter? But because it was a Amish buggy, it's only suspicion drunk driving? We all know even if the buggy had the proper lighting, alcohol impairs visions so he still could've hit and killed the man and his 10yr old boy!

It is unthinkable that this person should not be prosecuted for this crime!
